Robert Sadlier is the Deputy Director of the Water Quality Division in TCEQ’s Office of Water. Robert began his career with the agency in 2011 in the Edwards Aquifer Protection Program reviewing applications, developing authorizations, and conducting compliance investigations. Since that time, he has served in several roles including Air Environmental Investigator, Emergency Response Coordinator, and Water Section Team Leader for the Austin Region Office. Before joining the Water Quality Division, he served as Section Manager of the Edwards Aquifer Protection Program managing staff in the Austin and San Antonio Region offices. Robert received a Bachelor of Science in Resource and Environmental Studies from Texas State University.
Erika Crespo is the Assistant Deputy Director of the Water Quality Division at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. She has been with TCEQ since 2014, and her work experience includes calibrating mobile ambient air monitoring equipment, writing industrial wastewater permits, and serving as the TCEQ Pretreatment Team Leader. Erika has a Bachelors’ degree in Biology / Forensic Science and a Master’s degree in Environmental and Earth Sciences, both from the University of Texas at Arlington. Erika’s accolades include being a TCEQ Mickey Leland Environmental Internship Program participant, graduating from the City of Austin’s CityWorks Academy, graduating from The Governor’s Center for Management Development’s Senior Management Development Program, and participating the Texas Water Foundation’s Texas Water Leaders Program. Erika is a devoted sister, a proud godmother, and the frazzled parent of a border-collie/pit-bull dog named Barkley.
